He's a hard-working guy.  Just like you...  And budget-conscious.  That's why we've put together this rugged little fella.  The Roadie Hoist by ACI is a low-cost, ultra-reliable inverted stage rigging hoist that's there to get the job done. No gimmicks, no nonsense.  The Roadie (RH) series was designed for heavy-duty use, which greatly reduces downtime and operational costs. The Roadie stage hoist is ideal for anyone who needs to get material lifted in a hurry, where lightweight and portability count. It operates on standard 110-120V AC, which means you can plug it in just about anywhere! The long fifteen foot power cord plugs into any standard outlet, and is easily replaceable with any common grounded C14 IEC cable (similar to a computer power cable, sometimes referred to as a "universal power cord"). No three-phase hook-up necessary! ACI's inverted chain hoists tolerate large loads with ease and require little maintenance.

 

Characteristics 

• Available Capacity  Range ¼ ton to ½ ton.

• Braking  Dual-braking system combines mechanical plus regenerative braking.

• Load Sheave  Deep-groove pockets fully support the load chain. Sheave provides smoother lifting, reduces vibration and reduces chain wear.

• Friction Clutch  A high performance and long life friction clutch that is integrated with the load brake. The friction clutch is designed to slip in order to prevent overloading and overtravel that could damage the hoist.

• Chain End Stop Assembly  For added protection, the chain end stop assembly fits below the end link of the lifting chain.

• Heat Treated Gearing  The gears are machined for a longer life span. All bearings at all rotating points run in an oil bath lubrication for quieter, smoother and cooler operation.

• Chain Guide  Heavy cast iron construction for improved wear resistance. The chain guide provides a quieter and smoother chain motion. The chain guide is easy to remove without disassembling the hoist and features easy capacity conversion.

• Compact Inverted Design  The die-cast body offers low headroom to fit into tight areas and is class F insulated for longer life and trouble-free service.

• Hoist Motor  The horsepower and duty ratings provide superior performance. The compact DC motor (with rectifier for AC input) allows for reduced weight, generates less heat and maintains duty cycles.

• Load Chain  Grade 80 superior quality load chain is heat treated for wear resistance, long life and dependable service.

• Electrical Panel  Easy maintenance, simple control layout, easy-access. 

• Chain Container  The vinyl chain bag container is provided standard with the Mechanics Hoist.

• 15' Power Cord  Long 15' power cord plugs into any standard outlet. Easily replaceable with any common grounded C14 IEC cable (similar to a computer power cable, sometimes referred to as a "universal power cord").
